I ordered the GHK-Cu Intensive Repair Cream to help with my dry skin, and so far I've been very happy with it. The cream has a lightweight texture, a subtle clean scent, and most importantly, it hasn't caused any irritation, redness, or breakouts. It arrives sealed, and the product is opened by twisting the bottom of the container. There's no applicator included, so I simply use clean hands to apply it to my face and neck after cleansing and toning. Since it doesn't contain SPF, I've mainly been using it as part of my nighttime skincare routine. The cream absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or heavy feeling behind. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and comfortably hydrated. The formula includes several well-known skincare ingredients, including copper peptides, niacinamide, carnosine, squalane, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate, all of which are commonly used to support hydration and improve the overall look of the skin. After a couple of weeks of consistent use, I've definitely noticed an improvement in how hydrated and comfortable my skin feels, especially in drier areas. It's still too soon for me to comment on any long-term effects on fine lines or wrinkles, but the moisturizing benefits have been noticeable. Overall, this has been a nice addition to my skincare routine, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs with continued use.
I have sensitive skin. Often, facial products will irritate and redden my face. This Intensive Repair Cream didn't cause any skin sensitivities for me. This formula glides on. It becomes slightly tacky to the touch until it dries. Then, it provides a thin moisturizing layer. I wear it alone and with foundation, good moisture either way. What I like:**Cool & Creamy -- The formula glides on. While it starts blue, it disappears when applied.**Gentle -- I don't routinely use peels or exfoliating products. This doesn't seem to be an exfoliating formula. It does a good job of moisturizing my skin. I took it with me on beach vacation. It was so soothing after a day in the sun (with sunscreen, of course).**Minimal Scent -- I don't really smell the camellia japonica flower extract in this cream. To me the fragrance is (thankfully) barely there.**Quality Ingredients -- I'm not a scientist but I do see that this formula has ingredients commonly found in high-end repair creams, including copper peptides.Does it brighten? I can't say that I've noticed brightening after using this product for a couple weeks. It clearly has added moisture and softened my skin. I enjoy using it. Nice that there's an almost 15% discount coupon offered at the time of this review. A good reason to give this formula a try. Recommended.
I picked up this copper peptide intensive repair cream for my mom's sensitive aging skin routine, and she loves the smooth texture. The 1.76 oz formula absorbs beautifully without leaving any greasy residue, utilizing squalane and niacinamide to deliver excellent deep hydration. It feels incredibly gentle and cooling on dull patches, causing zero redness or irritation while working to leave her skin looking noticeably plumper and firmer. It is a premium, high-quality facial skincare treat.
This is a well-formulated anti-aging and barrier-support face cream. I was extremely impressed when I really examined the ingredients and saw how many good things are packed in here and for the non-premium price it was especially impressive! My skin has been pretty dry lately for some reason despite the heat (which usually makes it oily) so this couldnt have come at a better time for me to test. The jar is a little weird to open, you twist it and hold onto the bottom and the whole top and sides is the lid. Please take note because I opened a similar jar by CAREL and spilled a bunch of it because Ive never seen a jar like that and I was confused how to open it. One small thing Id like to note is it didnt come with a scoop and Id really like one to be included for sanitary purposes. I hate sticking my fingers into a clean jar of product and worry Im contaminating it.The cream is pretty light-feeling and soft for a repair moisturizer. Its blue in color from the copper tripeptides. It doesnt have an added fragrance which I generally prefer. It doesnt feel heavy or leave my skin feeling greasy, just hydrated, soft and protected. This does contain dimethicone if you are sensitive to it.Heres a thorough breakdown on what makes It good:Strong Moisturizing Base* Glycerin C excellent humectant that attracts water to the skin.* Squalane C helps strengthen the skin barrier and reduce moisture loss.* Dimethicone and C20-24 Alkyl Dimethicone C provide a silky feel and help lock in hydration.* Cetearyl Alcohol C a fatty alcohol that moisturizes rather than dries the skin.Anti-Aging IngredientsThis cream contains an impressive peptide blend with a 4% copper peptide solution (as the box says) which, according to my research, is considered an effective and robust concentration and should yield faster and more dramatic results for issues such as loss of firmness and deep wrinkles.* Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu) C one of the most researched peptides for skin repair, firmness, and collagen support.* Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 C the famous Matrixyl-type peptide combination associated with wrinkle reduction.* Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 C supports collagen production.* Hexapeptide-9 C may help improve skin texture and repair.* Carnosine C an antioxidant that helps combat glycation, a process that contributes to skin aging.Brightening & Barrier Support* Niacinamide appears fairly high in the ingredient list, which is excellent for:* Brightening* Reducing redness* Improving skin barrier function* Supporting collagen productionHydration & Plumping* Sodium Hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) helps retain moisture and gives a plumper appearance.Additional Premium Ingredient* Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol (Pro-Xylane) is a notable anti-aging ingredient often found in luxury formulations. It helps improve skin firmness and hydration.?What I Like MostThis formula combines:* Copper peptides* Multiple collagen-supporting peptides* Niacinamide* Pro-Xylane* Squalane* Hyaluronic acidIts a very solid anti-aging combination and more sophisticated than many creams that cost much more.?Potential Drawbacks* No ceramides, cholesterol, or fatty acids for maximum barrier repair.* Doesnt contain retinol or retinal, which remain stronger wrinkle-fighting ingredients than peptides alone.?Who Would Like It? Dry skin? Normal skin? Mature skin? Sensitive skin (no fragrance or essential oils listed)? Anyone wanting anti-aging benefits without retinoid irritationnote: dont apply copper peptides and retinol, vitamin c or strong acids at the same time. For example use vitamin c in morning, retinol OR copper peptides at night.?Overall VerdictCAREL GHK-Cu Intensive Repair Cream feels like a genuinely impressive peptide cream, especially for the relatively moderate price. The combination of Copper Tripeptide-1, Matrixyl-type peptides, Pro-Xylane, Niacinamide, Squalane, and Hyaluronic Acid gives it real anti-aging potential while remaining gentle enough for daily use. I havent used it for a long enough time to test the long-term usage but with this ingredient list and how it feels on my skin Im genuinely impressed. If your goal is firmer, smoother, better-hydrated skin with long-term anti-aging support, this is substantially better than the average moisturizer and compares favorably to many premium peptide creams on the market. (I dont say that lightly, I did a comparison of this one and a $700 cream and this one was rated better.)
It arrived well sealed with a little quality control sticker on the box, which made me feel like they actually care. The jar itself is kind of unique though. The entire top and sides twist off while you hold the bottom, which I didnt expect at first. Almost had a mini disaster like I did with another cream before, so heads up if you get one! I do wish it came with a little spatula though. Digging in with my fingers every time feels kinda gross even when my hands are clean. The cream itself is a pretty light blue color (from the copper peptides I think) and has a soft, almost velvety texture. It spreads super easily and sinks in fast without that heavy or sticky feeling. Its not completely fragrance-free but the scent is very faint and clean, kind of like fresh skincare, and it disappears right away. Definitely not perfumey. My normal-to-dry skin feels nicely hydrated and plump after using it, not greasy at all. It reminds me of a richer version of a water-gel moisturizer. What really stands out is the ingredient list for the price. Theres a solid amount of copper tripeptide, plus other peptides like the Matrixyl ones, niacinamide, squalane, hyaluronic acid, and even that Pro-Xylane stuff you usually see in way more expensive creams. It feels like they actually packed it with good actives instead of just filler. I havent been using it long enough to see big anti-aging changes yet, but as a daily moisturizer its doing a great job keeping my skin soft and comfortable.A couple small things: it does have dimethicone, so if youre sensitive to silicones just know that. Also no ceramides or retinol, which might be a downside if you want maximum barrier repair or stronger wrinkle fighting.Overall though, this is a really solid cream. It feels gentle enough for everyday use but still sophisticated. I think its especially good for dry or mature skin that wants anti-aging benefits without irritation. A little definitely goes a long way, so even though its pricier than basic water gels, I think its worth it for the extra ingredients.

I've been happy with this moisturizer so far. The ingredient list is what drew me in since it combines several ingredients I've had good results with over the years, including squalane, niacinamide, and copper peptides. Having them all in one product simplifies my routine. The cream has a light purple tint and an almost gel-like texture that feels surprisingly lightweight on my skin. A little goes a long way, which helps balance cost concerns. I use it as the fourth step in my routine after cleansing, toner, and serum, and it leaves my skin feeling soft, supple, and well hydrated. The moisture lasts throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy. The only thing I found a bit strange is the jar itself. It looks like the top should twist off, but it's actually the bottom that unscrews. It doesn't affect how the product works, but it was unexpected. Once I figured it out, it wasn't an issue, but it's definitely an unusual design.Overall, it's a nice moisturizer with ingredients I trust and a texture I enjoy using. The price is on the higher side, but because you only need a small amount per application, the jar should last a while.

If you are looking for a powerhouse anti-aging moisturizer that truly addresses skin resilience and dullness, this copper peptide cream is phenomenal. The formulation feels incredibly high-end and delivers noticeable results for sensitive or aging skin barriers. Why This Cream Stands Out:Luxurious, Rich Texture: The consistency is wonderfully thick and creamy, making it feel intensely nourishing the moment it hits the skin. It absorbs beautifully without leaving a greasy residue, providing a deeply comforting layer of hydration.Powerhouse Ingredient Blend: The combination of a 4% copper peptide solution, niacinamide, carnosine, and squalane works wonders together. Copper peptides are fantastic for firming and repairing, while the squalane ensures the skin stays plump and locked in with moisture.Incredible Barrier Support: It is excellent for soothing compromised or sensitive skin. It completely eliminates dry patches and leaves the complexion looking calm, balanced, and deeply restored.Brightens & Firms: With consistent use, it brings back a healthy, youthful radiance to dull skin and helps smooth out the appearance of fine lines, giving the skin a much firmer feel.Final Verdict:This is a beautifully formulated intensive repair cream. For anyone seeking a rich, substantial moisturizer that targets aging while prioritizing skin barrier health, this is an absolute 5-star product!
Not entirely sure if this product works as the marketing claims. I tried it for over a week on dry skin and noticed no improvement in my dry skin. The marketing suggests "intense" repair cream, but this feels more like the consistency of standard lotion you can buy at the local store in a rather large bottle for around $10 or less. This product costs significantly more and doesn't work any better on my skin. When comparing to products that are similar the cost dollar for dollar just isn't there for this product.I will say this, the packaging is impressive and it seems the company focused on that area more to make this seem like a premium or luxury product. Unfortunately if the product falls short the packaging isn't going to be enough to warrant and justify the cost of it.
